Detailed day by day 10-Day Uganda-Kenya Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Kenya where our representative will be waiting to welcome you to Kenya to start your 10 Days Uganda-Kenya Safaris. Firstly, your Kenya driver guide will brief you about your safari and then transfer you to your accommodation within Nairobi where you will spend the afternoon relaxing and visiting the Giraffe Centre nearby. Secondly, after arriving at the accommodation, check-in and enjoy the rest of your afternoon getting introduced to Kenya.
The Giraffe Manor is famous for its resident Rothschild’s giraffes. Visitors can enjoy sensational interactions with the giraffes while here, enjoy feeding them; an exercise that sees these majestic animals poke their heads through the windows hoping for a treat. Again you can also visit the giraffe center that is located nearby for an educative experience about the Rothschild’s Giraffe and the various conservation efforts in place. Day 2: Nairobi National Park
Your wildlife adventure in Kenya today will start with a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, a national park located just on the city outskirts. Nairobi National Park is one of the popular safari parks in Kenya, and the nearest National Park to the city center. In addition, this National Park is home to various bird species and wildlife species and during your game drive, you are likely to spot all the top wildlife species including lions, giraffes, leopards, rhinos, and zebras among other wildlife species. Nairobi National Park
Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park
Spark off your day with a delicious breakfast in the morning at your lodge. Immediately after breakfast, plan to transfer to Lake Nakuru reserve for a short journey that will last for about 3 hours while driving in the scenic view of the country side. At your arrival at Lake Nakuru in the mid-morning, you will proceed with an exciting mid-morning game drive in the park getting introduced to various wildlife species that call this iconic National Park home.
Lake Nakuru National Park is popular for its large bird population, especially the lesser flamingos that flock to the lake shores painting it pink. Although this park draws its population from the vast array of birdlife, Lake Nakuru National Park is also a great wildlife habitat, hosting different wildlife species including four of the five African Big Five animals. An en-route game drive here will allow you to experience the abundant diversity.
Later proceed with your transfer to the lodge. Check-in and enjoy lunch at the lodge. In addition, after a short rest, embark on having a massive an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru national Park. Day 4, Early Morning Game drive & a drive to Masai Mara National Park.
Begin the day with an early Morning game drive at Masai Mara reserve for a chance to see the wildlife species. Visit different areas that you might have missed out during your previous game drive for an opportunity to have a virgin experience. Keep an eye out for the members of the African big five animals and several other wildlife species that call this National Park home. After your remarkable morning game drive adventure, return to your lodge for breakfast.
Following breakfast, bid farewell to Lake Nakuru National Park and embark on a transfer to Kenya’s Iconic Masai Mara National Reserve where you will be spending a couple of days on adventure.

Day 5: Spend a Day exploring Masai Mara National Park
Today you will spend the whole day exploring the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge, after breakfast, depart your lodge with lunch boxes for a full day adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Embark on your frist game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. In addition, this iconic National Reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife species that roam the vast savannas all year round allowing for unbeatable wildlife viewing experiences in Kenya.
Furthermore Masai Mara National Reserve is home to a large number of species including lions, leopard, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and African Wild Dogs among others that you will enjoy viewing during your game drive in the park. Masai Mara is also home to various bird species that you will witness during your game drive adventure in the Reserve.
Again, you’ll have a lunch break before embarking on another game drive in the afternoon. Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Uganda
Wake up early in the morning and embark on an early morning game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. Above all, you will enjoy wildlife sighting in the Mara before you transfer to Uganda on this 10 Days Uganda-Kenya Safari. In addition, during the game drive you will have plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities in the Reserve – a chance to witness Kenya’s iconic wildlife once more. After your game drive, return to the lodge and prepare for your transfer to the airstrip for a chartered flight to Uganda.
Then after board your flight to Uganda and fly to Kihihi Airstrip in Kisoro in southwestern Uganda. From Kisoro, your Uganda safari guide will welcome you and brief you about your adventure in Uganda. You will then embark on a transfer to your booked safari lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your lodge and check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will embark on the remarkable mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Start your day early in the morning with a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters where you join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session. During the briefing session, the Park officials will guide you on how you can have a safe and memorable mountain gorilla trekking experience, you will provided with the gorilla trekking guidelies and safety guideline that ensure that both you and the gorillas are safe.
You will the be grouped into groups of 8 members then allocated gorilla families to trek. It is time to grab your trekking stick and indulge in the jungles of Bwindi to search for these elusive creature in their natural habitat. And the experience will be guided by armed and experienced ranger guides who lead you into the forest to search for the gorillas.
As a result, the tracking usually follows the trail from the gorilla last nested the previous night. After a long trek in the forest, you will finally locate these majestic creatures in their natural habitat and spend quality time observing them as they perform their daily routine. You will enjoy the playful antics of the you gorillas, and witness the mothers groom their babies, under the watchful eye of the giant silverback. When your time elapses, trek back to the starting point (park headquarters) where you will be rewarded with a certificate of participation.
Your Uganda driver guide will be ready to transfer you to your lodge. At the lodge, enjoy a refreshing meal. After lunch, visit the Batwa community for an immersive cultural tour. The Batwa are a marginalized group of people living near the Bwindi forest, renowned for their unique way of life and culture. While here you will enjoy cultural performances and a guided walk into the forest. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Afternoon Game drive
Today, start your day with a leisurely breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, embark on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park National Park. This short journey will take you through the scenic countryside, witness Uganda’s charming beauty as you drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon and proceed with your drive to your booked safari lodge.
Arrive at the lodge and check in. Lunch will be served at your lodge. After lunch, embark on your first adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 9 All Day adventuring Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This whole day you will spend it exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park. Then Start off your day with a fresh game drive in the morning passing through the green savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will visit Kasanye Plains and Ishasha sector that’s well known its incredible wildlife opportunities.
The Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park is popular for its unique tree climbing lions that can be seen lounging on the tree branches. The game drive promises sighting of lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species.
Immediately after a game drive, return back to your lodge for refreshment of a meal and a quick rest. After lunch, embark to explorer the Kanzinga Channel where you will enjoy a boat ride as you will be watching the beauty of the channel.
