SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

SELOUS GAME RESERVE

The Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s biggest game reserve. It was created in 1922 and takes about 5% of all of Tanzania The southern section is off-limits; it is heavily forested, undeveloped, and has several precipitous cliffs. The region north of the Rufiji River is the only one open to travelers.
