Detailed Itinerary for a 9 Days Masai Mara and Lakipia Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi where our representative will meet you and transfer you to a booked safari hotel around Nairobi. Your guide will brief you about this 9 Days Kenya Safari tour, providing all the necessary details you will. Arrive at your hotel in Nairobi, relax and unwind from the long journey.

You will have an overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 2: Transfer from Nairobi to Laikipia

Following an early morning breakfast at your lodge, depart your hotel in Nairobi and drive to Laikipia. The journey is about 4 – 5 hours by road through the scenic countryside, giving you opportunities to witness this charming country.

You will arrive at Laikipia at lunch time and you will drive to your booked lodge. Then have lunch at your lodge. Then after getting done with lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in Laikipia region to see different wildlife species.

Laikipia National Park is not well known for having top wildlife safaris, but atleast it has got a unique and an remarkable wildlife species that consider it a peaceful home like the Rhinos

After the day is done, you will drive to your booked lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day exploring Laikipia

Early Morning wake up for a refreshment and have breakfast at your lodge. Immediately after getting done with breakfast, get ready to begin a full day of game driving to enjoy wildlife species at Laikipia Reserve. You will come across different wildlife species in the region including lions, giraffes, elephant, and various Mammal grazers. Enjoy exploring the conservancy during this game drive. After your thrilling wildlife viewing on morning game drive, you will have a break for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot.

Day 4 : Transfer and drive from Laikipia to Masai Mara National Park.

In the morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will depart to Masai Mara reserve. Driving through the stunning beautiful countryside, enjoying seeing the gorgeous landscapes. This drive will take about 5-6 hours. Arriving at the Park, you will proceed to your safari lodge for lunch.

After a refreshment of a meal at the lodge, embark to have an enormous experience of the famous Masai Mara National Park to see numerous wildlife species. The well known Masai Mara reserve is noted for its abundant population of the wildlife species that include African Big five animals. Day 05 -07 ; Spending a day exploring Masai Mara Reserve.

From the fifth day to the seventh day of this 9 Days Wildlife Safari in Kenya, you will spend all that period immersing yourself in the iconic Masai Mara National Park. You will visit various sectors of the park for your wildlife watching, cultural trip, and bird watching experiences.
